The Feast of Saint Antoninus, Bishop and Confessor, celebrates his legacy as a learned Dominican friar and Archbishop of Florence, known for his moral teachings and pastoral care. It coincides with the Fifth Sunday after Easter, emphasising prayer and trust in God, while promoting the faithful’s commitment to action and purity.

The Feast of the Ascension, celebrated forty days after Easter, commemorates Christ's return to the Father, as described in Acts 1:1–11. It highlights His role as High Priest and calls the faithful to seek heavenly aspirations. The liturgy balances joy and longing, anticipating the Holy Ghost at Pentecost.
