SS. Apostolorum Petri et Pauli 

On the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul, the faithful gather to celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass, lifting their hearts in honour of the two great pillars of the Church—Peter, the Rock upon whom Christ built His Church, and Paul, the chosen vessel who bore the Gospel to the nations. As the sacred liturgy unfolds, the Church gives thanks for the unshakable faith of Peter and the fiery zeal of Paul, both crowned with martyrdom in the Eternal City. The Epistle and Gospel resound with apostolic authority, bearing witness to the divine mission entrusted to them by Christ Himself. The faithful, united in the same confession of faith, receive the Holy Eucharist with reverence, as the sacrament of unity handed down through the hands of the Apostles. This glorious feast renews our fidelity to the one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic Church, reminding us that her foundation is not of man, but of Christ through His chosen instruments. In this holy offering, we honour their witness, invoke their intercession, and pledge to keep the faith they preached even unto death.
