Sunday XXV Post Pentecost: Comm. St Tryphon & Companion Martyrs; Armistice Day; Missa “Dicit Dóminus”
Today the recurring theme of Our Lord’s miracles is reaffirmed through His doctrine which filled the Jews of Nazareth with wonder (Communion). Christ is our King for He welcomes not only Jews but also Gentiles into His kingdom. Called through pure mercy to share in the Mystical Body of Christ, we must ten in our turn, show mercy to our neighbor since we are made one with our neighbor in Christ Jesus (Epistle). In doing this we shall have need of patience, since in God’s kingdom here on earth there are both good and bad, and it is only when our Lord comes to judge men, as described in the Last Sunday of the temporal cycle, that He will separate the one from the other for all Eternity. This especially hits home today with the crisis Holy Mother Church has been undergoing where so many cockles from Vatican II have been sown among the wheat that it has choked out most of the good wheat, but we must have faith that our Lord will separate through divine intervention the True Catholics from those who would pose as Catholics. The evil sower is the devil and he sows the dark cockle, which is a violent poison. The servants of the good man of the house represent the Angels; they wished to separate the good from the bad. But it is impossible to separate them until the time of the harvest i.e. the time of the last judgment then will Divine Justice make the necessary separation.
In the reign of the Emperor Decius one Tryphon strove by preaching the faith of Jesus Christ to bring all men to worship him. For this cause he was taken by the servants of Decius. He was first tormented upon the rack, and flesh stripped from him with iron claws ; then red-hot nails were driven into his insteps, he was beaten with cudgels and scarified with lighted torches. The sight of the courage wherewith he bore all, brought the Prefect Respicius to believe in the Lord Christ, and he forthwith declared himself a Christian. He also was divers ways tormented, and then led along with Tryphon before the statue of Jupiter. When Tryphon prayed, the statue fell down. Then were both Tryphon and Respicius savagely lashed with whips loaded with lead, until they grasped the crown of a most glorious testimony, upon the 10th day of November. Upon the same day a certain maiden named Nympha, having openly confessed that Jesus Christ is very God, added the palm of martyrdom to the crown of virginity.

EPISTLE Colossians 3: 12-17
Lesson from the Epistle of Blessed Paul the Apostle to the Colossians. Brethren, Put ye on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, the bowels of mercy, benignity, humility, modesty, patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if any have a complaint against another: even as the Lord hath forgiven you, so do you also. But above all these things, have charity, which is the bond of perfection: and let the peace of Christ rejoice in your hearts, wherein also you are called in one body: and be ye thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you abundantly, in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, hymns and spiritual canticles, singing in grace in your hearts to God, All whatsoever you do in word or in work, du all in the Name of the Lord Jesus Chhst, giving thanks to God and the Father by Jesus Christ Our Lord.
GRADUAL/ALLELUIA Psalm 132: 1-26
Behold! how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! V. It is like the precious ointment on the head, that ran down upon the beard, the beard of Aaron. Alleluia, alleluia. V. (Ps. 113: 11) Let them that fear the Lord, hope in Him He is their helper and their protector. Alleluia.
GOSPEL Matthew 13: 24-30
At that time, Jesus spoke this parable to the multitudes: The kingdom of Heaven is likened to a man that sowed good seed in his field. But while men were asleep, his enemy came and oversowed cockle among the wheat, and went his way.And when the blade was sprung up and had brought forth fruit, then appeared also the cockle. And the servants of the good man of the house coming, said to him: Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? Whence then has it cockle? And he said to them: An enemy hath done this. And the servants said to him: Wilt thou that we go and gather it up? and he said: No, lest perhaps, gathering up the cockle, you root up the wheat also together with it. Suffer both to grow until the harvest, and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers: Gather up first the cockle and bind it into bundles to burn, but the wheat gather ye into my barn.

PREFACE of the Most Holy Trinity
It is truly meet and just, right and for our salvation, that we should at all times and in all places, give thanks unto Thee, O holy Lord, Father almighty, ever-lasting God: Who, together with Thine only-begotten Son, and the Holy Ghost, are one God, one Lord: not in the oneness of a single Person, but in the Trinity of one substance. For what we believe by Thy revelation of Thy glory, the same do we believe of Thy Son, the same of the Holy Ghost, without difference or separation. So that in confessing the true and everlasting Godhead, distinction in persons, unity in essence, and equality in majesty may be adored. Which the Angels and Archangels, the Cherubim also and Seraphim do praise: who cease not daily to cry out with one voice saying:
