We rejoice to bring you the good news that today a baby’s life was saved by volunteers outside the clinic.
“The woman started her communication with volunteers by shouting and swearing at them and later slapping a volunteer around the face. Her actions were met with gentleness, love and encouragement She later came out after taking some information and having seen the scan of her baby. She hugged the volunteer she had slapped earlier saying “We’re keeping it, we’re keeping it!” Despite her pregnancy being out of rape she seemed to be very much at peace with the decision she had made. The clinic staff had urged her not to talk to any of the pro-life people outside their clinic but she not only didn’t listen, she told them how helpful everyone was and how impressed she was with how she was treated by them. We thank God that her baby is still safe. Please continue to pray for this woman – there is a long way to go. We have her contact details and will be seeking to support her.
Two other couples arrived at the clinic today but did not enter. We hope that they also may have been saved from abortion.
We thank God for the encouragement that this is to us.
On the other side the pro-abortion group joined us and spent the day collecting signatures from passers by for a petition. They sent out a tweet declaring how thrilled they were to discover the overwhelming support locally for ‘pro-choice’. This simply confirms how much we need to be doing what we are doing – and more – to defend the lives of pre-born children.
May God soften the heart of the nation which has become so cold.”
The truth that the so-called “pro-choice” lobby fail to realise is that abortion clinics don’t actually provide or counsel “choice”. The abortuaries advocate foeticide, that is their stock in trade, their “raison d’etre” their business… and let’s not forget that, these clinics exist to and make money from, people’s mistakes or despair. They do not show mother’s details of the abortion procedures, they do not show them pictures of the aborted foetus, they do not offer alternative solutions such as adoption, they do not tell them about the emotional, psychological and physical scarring that abortion can have on a woman…
