Sunday Advent II

The Second Sunday of Advent summons us to hear the prophetic voice of St. John the Baptist: Prepare the way of the Lord. The liturgy urges repentance, straightening the crooked paths of sin, and embracing purity of heart. Christ draws near; His grace demands response. Israel’s ancient longing becomes our own call to conversion, vigilance, and renewed fidelity to the coming King.
