Festum Sanctissimi Corporis Christi

On Corpus Christi, the faithful gather to celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass, lifting their hearts in adoration of the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar—Christ truly present, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. As the sacred liturgy unfolds, the Church gives voice to her joy in Eucharistic hymns composed by St Thomas Aquinas, and the Gospel reveals the divine promise: “My Flesh is meat indeed, and My Blood is drink indeed.” The altar becomes a new Bethlehem, a new Calvary, a foretaste of the heavenly banquet. The faithful fall to their knees in awe, receiving the same Lord who once walked among men, now hidden under the veil of bread and wine. This radiant feast renews our faith in the Real Presence, reminding us that Christ remains with His Church in the Sacrament of love. In this holy offering, Heaven touches earth, and we are drawn into the eternal worship of the Lamb who was slain.
