Dominica Pentecostes

On Pentecost Sunday, the faithful gather to celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass, lifting their hearts in reverence and gratitude as the Church commemorates the descent of the Holy Ghost. As the sacred liturgy unfolds, the Scriptures recount the mighty wind and tongues of fire that filled the Upper Room, the divine breath that animated the infant Church. Prayers rise with fervour, echoing the ancient cry Veni, Sancte Spiritus!—Come, Holy Ghost!—and the faithful receive the Holy Eucharist, in whom the same Spirit dwells in fullness. This glorious feast renews our fervour, reminding us that the same Spirit who sanctified the Apostles now strengthens us to bear witness to Christ. In this holy offering, we are filled anew with divine life, confirmed in grace, and sent forth to proclaim the wondrous works of God.
